Coolest Jungle Birthday Cake

First I made some leaves and flowers from fondant. I also purchased a bag of animals. I baked a chocolate sheet cake. Then I covered it with yellow and green buttercream icing. Then I took a rectangular piece a cake and covered it with the same colour, yellow and green. And I placed it on one top corner of the cake as a mountain.

Then I made a waterfall by adding blue gel colour to piping gel. Then I made palm trees with fondant and used praline tree trunk and placed them on the cake. On the surrounding, I added leaves and flowers all around the cake to give the jungle effect. With the chocolate icing I also piped the stems for the leaves and flowers. And finally, I placed the animal on to the cake. The idea for this cake was taken from youtube.

I also made animal cupcakes for the jungle theme birthday party. The idea of which I got from youtube as well. This was my first theme cake made with buttercream and fondant.
