This Kung Fu Panda cake was made for a friend’s 5 year old son. I have not seen the movie, so I searched online for pictures from the film. After settling on this one I printed it out and created a stencil.
The cake is made from 3 1/2 yellow cake ( which made the cake very heavy) and the buttercream icing was made using a Wilton recipe. I let the cake cool overnight before icing. The icing was made and colored in advanced using Wilton coloring. The only thing that I would have changed was having a better cake board underneath the cake to support the weight. Oh yeah, the inflatable sword and candle were bought at a party store.
