This Ladybug Baby Shower Cake was made for a friend of mines baby shower. Her theme was Ladybug, so that’s why I choose to do this Ladybug Baby Shower Cake.
To make the cake, I did the body in a Pyrex bowl. The head was done with a 10 inch pan that I cut 2 even circles out of and stacked one on the other. I did a crumb coat in buttercream to start off. Then put it in freezer for about 5 min to harden (this is to make the final icing coat easier). I used the Wilton’s premade tube icing with the star tip in red on the body.
For the head I also used the same icing, but in black. I used Oreo’s and m&m’s for the Ladybug spots. For the eyes I bought those at Walmart as well as the sunflower. For this being my first attempt, I’m very pleased with the results!
