Cool Homemade Littlest Pet Shop Birthday Cake Idea

This is a Littlest Pet Shop Birthday Cake Idea that I made for my sister’s 14th birthday! She collects littlest Pet Shop pets so I decided what better way to give her the new animals I bought and make her a cake all in one!

It is a yellow cake with Cream Cheese filling and a fondant icing. It was my first time working with fondant and it was a lot harder to work with than I thought. When I finally got a grasp on the fondant, the cake then turned out really nice. I used a lot of purple because that is my sister’s favorite color and it was the theme of the party.

The Littlest Pet Shop Pets where not iced down, they actually stayed up on the cake. The only thing I would change is the fact that I did not dirty ice the cake like I wanted to and I did not use skewers. Other than that I really loved what I made! It was a small party but I got great compliments on it.
