I attempt to make one cake a year. This year for my son’s 4th birthday everything was cars so I took this Mack Truck Cake to the extreme. The main feature of the cake was Mack along with 7 other cars. The other cars were Luigi, Finn McMissile, Mater, Lightning McQueen, Francesco, Fillmore, and Guido.
I started with a sheet cake around 26×12 inches. Mack’s trailer and cab were made from a loaf pan. The cars were made from a Car’s Cakelet pan from Williams-Sonoma. I covered everything with butter cream and marshmallow fondant.
The cake was a big hit at the party.
