I made this Homemade Mario Brothers Birthday Cake for my son’s 6th birthday party. As you can see he was OBSESSED with these characters so I put a couple of cake ideas I have seen in the past, and made one big cake. The mushroom was a vanilla cake as well. The grass layer was a chocolate cake covered in butter cream and the bottom tier was van/choc/van triple layer cake. I especially loved this cake because it was all edible! The characters are toys I bought online for a buck each.

Sorry! I totally left out which pans I used. Bottom tier is 10 in round. The grass layer was 6 in and the mushroom I used a coffee can’t and ang aluminum bowl for the top. Enjoy!
