My daughter wanted a Minion cake for her 9th Birthday! I made 4 6″ round cakes, 2 white with vanilla filling and 2 chocolate with peanut butter filling. I used half of the Wilton ball for the dome of the head. I have only covered one full cake in fondant so I was scared to death of this task!
I used Marshmallow Fondant. I did the head and body separate and covered the seam with the black goggle strap. Arms, legs, pants, eyes and goggle were all MM fondant. I used Wilton color mist for the silver on the goggle. The kids and parents really enjoyed the cake!
