I used the Wilton mickey mouse cake pan that I purchased at Michaels. I first sprayed the pan with Pam and then dusted it with flour ( make sure to pat the excess flour off ). After the cake baked I cut off the top bobble so when I flipped it over it would be flat. I then followed the instructions given with the cake pan but instead of doing the star dots I just frosted. I guess the frosting got too warm in my hands and it wasn’t coming out how I expected. In my opinion it was easier that way but I did do the piping how they said to do it.
This Minnie Mouse Birthday Cake Design was my first time doing a cake and I’m happy the way it turned out. I hope my daughter will have a first birhtday that was memorable. Oh and to make Mickey Minnie I just added eyelashes and made a bow from ribbon and added it at the end.
