Coolest Minnie Mouse Cake

I made this homemade Minnie Mouse cake for my sister’s boss’s daughter’s first birthday. It is a two layer 10-inch and two layer 6-inch for the ears, all white cake with Cannoli filling. The outline, eyes and mouth are piped royal icing smoothed with a finger dipped in cornstarch. The face and ears are piped butter cream with #16 star tip. The hardest part was making the black icing, but I found that if I added a little, mixed and then let it set, I had to add a lot less black.
