I baked three vanilla cake box mixes mixed with green food coloring to match the color of the energy drink. After it cooled, then rolled out black fondant. I frosted the whole Monster Energy Drink Birthday Cake lightly, covering whole cake, then I placed the black fondant over the cake.
I made a template of the “M” and rolled out green fondant then traced my “M” template over the green fondant and cut it out, placing that over the cake. Then I used remaining green fondant cutting out the letters “ENERGY” placing them on the cake. I wrote out with tube frosting the word “MONSTER” on the cake.
This cake was made last year for my husbands 45th birthday. Everyone loved it! especially when I cut into it and the cake was the same green color as the original drink.
