Coolest Monster Truck Cake

My son loves monster trucks, so a few years ago, for his 4th birthday, we decided on a Monster Truck theme.

The Monster Truck Cake was super easy. I baked an 11 x 14 cake in butter recipe yellow. I iced the the cake top with home made chocolate icing, and iced the side with green tinted buttercream.

For the three ramps, I used pre made pound cake to save a little bit of time. I also iced them with the chocolate frosting. I then crushed some graham crackers and spread them everywhere that was iced with chocolate. I then added cars and two of my son’s monster trucks with little American flag toothpicks attached.

After the birthday boy’s name and some candles, the cake was done….and he loved it!
