I acquired the biggest slab cake that I could get my hands on and drew a template for My Little Pony Cake. When that looked right I traced the template onto the cake and started cutting around it. I fashioned an ear out of left overs my dad helped me sculpt the rear end and legs.
I then iced over the whole thing. I piped the mane and tail for better effect and made the eye, mouth and pony mark out of cardboard and contact.
