Coolest Nightmare Before Christmas Birthday Cake

I made this Nightmare Before Christmas Birthday Cake for my daughter’s 3rd birthday as she loves The Nightmare Before Christmas. The bottom cake is an orange-vanilla cake with orange butter frosting. The top one is a three layered chocolate and vanilla checkerboard cake also with butter frosting.

Each layer was frosted a different color:purple, orange and a pinky-purple. Each layer is lined with candy. One layer is pumpkins, and the other is bats. Around the base I sprinkled purple and black crystal sugar. There are pumpkins around the edge made from store bought tube frosting and sprinkles.

I ordered The Nightmare characters from online and placed them around the cake. I used the packaging from the characters as a background for the cake.
