My husband and I made this Optimus Prime Birthday Cake for our son’s 5th birthday. We rented the face of Optimus from our local Bulk Barn store and the bottom my husband drew out on bristol board and then cut it out, I baked a square cake and used the stencil to cut out the bottom portion of his body.
I started with the face first and did the blue, then I moved onto the gray of the face and body, then went on to do the white portions and then did the red the black I did last. It took me 3 hours to decorate this cake and my son went crazy over it. I didn’t think I could do it since I only make a cake twice a year for my kids birthday but it turned out good and he enjoyed it.
