I made this Over the Hill Cake with a vanilla sponge for my friend as a joke who was turning 30 and none too happy about it. I got the idea from other cakes on this site. I used a Pyrex bowl to make the hill shape and used lots of butter and flour to grease it and make sure it turned out without breaking!

The grass was buttercream icing and the letters fondant icing. This was my first attempt at cake decorating and I was surprised by how easy it was!
