The Piggy Cake and Cupcakes is made from two 8 inch round cake pans. The frosting is strawberry. The ears are cupcakes cut in triangles. The white inside the ear is gel. White gel holds on the green chocolate candies. The nose is a cupcake. The nose holes are black gel. The piggy tale is pull ‘n peel fruit candy.
The cupcakes have large marshmallow cut in half for the nose. The ears are small marshmallows cut in half length-ways. I used pink strawberry frosting, but I also sprayed pink on the whole thing to cover the white marshmallows. I put a white dot of gel on the ear, black gel for the nose holes, and chocolate candy eyes with black gel in the center. Each piggy has a tale like the larger cake. I think the tales were the kids’ favorite part.
