This Pirate Ship Cake was baked for a friend’s going away Pirate themed party! After lots of planning it all came together nicely.
The ship is made of 4 rectangle cakes layered on top of each other and then sculpted into the ship. I made a ‘pattern’ on paper first to make sure it all fits together. The layers were all different colors, so when we finally cut it the effect was brilliant!
Reaction to the cake was amazing and I’ve even had a few requests for more cakes. I loved the planning and decorating was so much fun!
