My son wanted me to make a Pokeball for his birthday cake, so here is my attempt!! Used Pyrex bowls to make the pokeball. I only had to use one box of cake mix. Filled each 2.5 quart bowl half way. I also put parchment paper on the bottom of each bowl to prevent the cake from sticking to the bottom of the bowls.
I had to bake the cake for about one hour until it was fully done in the center. I dyed white whipped icing yellow, blue and green to accent the cake. I bought black and red icing to decorate the Pokeball. I also used a star tip to outline the cake. I bought Pokemon toys to decorate the cake with.
