This Pokemon cake was for a friend’s birthday. He loves to play Pokemon video games, so I asked his friends who some of his favorite characters were (I know Mario is not a Pokemon, but it was one his favorites too), and made all of them out of sugar dough.
They took a long time to make, around an hour for each figure. Then I made a figure of my friend to place on the cake, sitting with all his favorite game characters. Toothpicks attach them to the cake. The base of the cake is just a simple brownie recipe.
This cake was really all about the figures on top.
