I made this popcorn cake for my daughter’s eighth birthday party which had a movie theme. I used a large mixing bowl to bake the cake in and the top of a cupcake mold pan as the domed top. The cake was covered on butter cream icing and then fondant. The “popcorn” is mini marshmallows brushed with yellow food coloring.
The face and hat are made from fondant. Cup cakes were baked in black paper and decorated the same way. Their main purpose was to hold the candles. My daughter loved it!
