Oh my, I am just too excited about how this Pregnant Belly cake came out. I have absolutely no fondant experience.
I took the first 2 Wilton classes at Michael’s. I wanted someone to make this cake for the shower of my new God Baby Due on Oct 19, so I started searching for it. I found many pictures of what they look like but not how to make them.I learned how to make fondant and how to put it on the all today from YOUTUBE.
I used a homemade marshmallow fondant recipe. The breasts are cupcakes and the belly was cooked in a Pyrex bowl. I liked just the White dress with the bow but my niece wanted polka-dots. I am open for any ideas of how I can perfect this cake before the Baby shower on September 20,2008.
YOU DID AN AWSOME JOB ON THAT …..KUDOS TO YOU..
You do not need ANY suggestions…this cake is great exactly as it is. I can’t believe you have no fondant experience. Nice job…the mommy will be thrilled!!!
I think you did a great job, if it were my cake I would be more than happy!
Your cake is adorable, do not change anything. :)
This is a great cake you did an awesome job. I would say that if you are in need of more servings you can always put an 11* 15 sheet cake under it. This will give you extra servings if needed. Your cake is Beautiful.
