This pregnant belly cake I made for a friend’s baby shower, it was tons of fun! I used two small sports cake pans for the breasts and then the belly was two 9 inch round cakes that I stacked and then sculpted.
The belly button is a small piece of fondant, the shirt is fondant as well. I added the bow to give it more of a girlie feel and then went around the edges with white icing to hide the rough edges and to give it some ruffles on the bottom. It was super fun. It was a bit difficult and time consuming but it was well worth it. Everyone at the shower loved the cake.
