I used a round cake and a small glass bowl for the cake. I froze the cake after it was baked to carve to shape. A small hole was cut through the middle of the cake to fit the seran wrapped Barbie doll. The Barbie doll was put in the cake (fit up to right above the doll waist) and then frosted with butter cream frosting and covered with homemade fondant. All layers of the fondant dressed were cut out using leaf cum paste cutters. Even the flower is made of fondant. My niece loved it and my sister was not expecting a cake such as this! This Princess and the Frog Cake is the most favorite one I have done.
