Coolest Princess Castle and Teddy Bear Birthday Cake

My daughter was having a teddy bear making party for her 5th birthday, she really likes princesses so I made her a 3 tier Homemade Princess Castle and Teddy Bear Birthday Cake and little bugs surrounding it. The bottom was a 10″ cake, the second tier a 8″ and the top a 5″. It was all covered in homemade marshmallow fondant. I used a plastic tube covered in fondant for the towers and the turrets were ice cream cones. I made all the little teddies, ladybirds, flowers and bees from regal icing. I even made the dress for the Disney Princess doll.

This was my second attempt at making a cake, as the first one was a 3D Star Wars R2D2 standing over 1.5ft for my little boy’s 6th birthday last year. My little girl was very thrilled when she saw her Princess Castle cake especially as she hadn’t seen the cake beforehand, as were all the other children and mums. I received lots of compliments and my next challenge is a Transformer Bumblebee cake!
