Coolest Princess Castle Birthday Cake

I made this cake for my daughters 4th b-day, she and all her little friends loved it!! (grown ups too) :). I used the Wilton castle set… the cakes were a 12 inch strawberry cake, 8 inch cherry chip cake, and a 6 inch vanilla cake. I used whipped frosting and the colors I used matched the piñata.

This homemade Princess castle birthday cake is a little time consuming because of the detail and the amount of drop flowers, but at the end it was worth it!!! If you are planning on transporting this cake I suggest you put the towers in place at the site, if you move it a lot it could fall apart… this means you will need to frost the pink tower tops at the site, do the tower window outline and flowers and put them in place there, (take enough frosting to do so).

You could also make it with 2 tiers instead or different size cakes, it depends on how much cake you will need. I made the cakes on day one, and did the frosting and assembly on day 2… you could also do different color flowers, just use your imagination!! Or use colors to match your party!! I assure you you will have a very pleased princess with this homemade princess castle birthday cake!!!
