I made this Princess Castle Birthday Cake for a friends 4 yr old daughter. The first tier is vanilla sponge with bavarian creme filling, once it was stacked I carved the cake to the shape it is. I measured each wall panel seperate and cut up the fondant to the various sizes, then I used a boulder texture mat to get the look on the fondant.Once the fondant was ridged I put the panels on. I topped off the first tier with a pink fondant top. The second tier was the same process except I made it round. The windows were cut from black fondant and the door was white fondat with a wood texture from a texture mat, then the door was painted. The peaks are ice cream cones covered in pink fondant, and fondant flags on toothpicks.
