Coolest Princess Castle Birthday Cake

This Princess Castle Birthday Cake is a special cake I made for my daughter’s 1st birthday. She’s my little princess! The bottom part of the cake is 2 stacked 9″x11″ cakes. The top is 2 loaf pan cakes stacked. The towers are ice cream cones dipped in choc candy chips and the tops are sugar cones.

It took 12 cones and 6 sugar cones to make the pillars. I cut 1/2 circles in the edges of the cake to make them fit. I then wrapped the seams in tiny fondant ropes and attached pearl candies to make them pretty. The whole cake is fondant covered with piped details. The door, windows and flowers are also fondant.

She loved it but but cried when we cut into it. This was by far the most fun I had making any cake!
