For my daughters 7th birthday I wanted her to have a Princess Castle Cake. She has been a princess from the day she was born. The pink was very specific. In our house it’s called Shau’Rae pink. We used the neon food colors to get it just right.
The towers, windows and door are from the castle kit by Wilton you can purchase almost anywhere that sells cake supplies. The cake it’s self is two nine inch rounds and two extra thick six inch rounds, using strawberry jam as filling.
Tips used (sorry I don’t have the numbers right off) were the medium star, the small and medium standard writing and the small leaf. I had my husband drill small holes in the top of the plastic tower toppers for the candles to stick into.
Total decorating time was 4.5 hours. Her face when she saw it was well worth every minute!
your cake is wonderful, i know that Rae loved it, surprised me that she let you eat it.
Ginger L,
Your cake is just beautiful! Any child would love to have a cake like this waiting to help them celebrate their special day.
