I love to bake and I am always willing and ready to attempt to make anything. People are always sending me pictures of different cakes they would like me to make. My mother-in-law’s birthday was October 6th and she was turning 60. I was planning her a surprise party and wanted to do a special cake for her. She loves pumpkins so I thought it would be cute to take a bunt cake pan, make 2 of them and stack them, ice them with butter cream and then cover with white fondant.
I hand painted the pumpkin with food coloring and added some fondant vines and leaves. She was so surprised she cried with joy. The cake was the hit of the party. Everyone was so amazed that it was a cake and was taking pictures of it left and right. Everyone enjoyed the cake and didn’t want to cut it! The look on peoples faces when they saw the cake that I had worked so hard on it was worth every ounce of hard work!!!
