I used loaf pans to make the Purse Birthday Cake and cut it and then stacked it with buttercreme. Then shaped it some more. I put it in the fridge for the frosting to crust.
I made my own marshmallow fondant (which tastes better to me than bought). I covered it with fondant. I Added wire to the handles so it would stand up.
The hankie and flower are fondant colored with gold dust mixed with vanilla to a paint consistancy. It gave the flower and hankie an antiqued look. This was my very first purse cake.
