Coolest Purse Cake

Sorry the fondant looks a little smooshy. The picture was taken 3 days later. I baked 2 9inch yellow cakes. I cut across the bottom of the cake so it could stand. And used the cut piece as a guide and repeated on the second cake. I torted and layered with buttercream icing.

I stood the purse cake up and covered in MMF. I colored a small batch of MMF in purple gel color. I used cookie cutter for the stars.
