I used a combination of butter icing (yellow) and pre-coloured black fondant for this Homemade Queen Bee Cake.
The wings were done with melted white chocolate done in a tear shape. I popped them both in the freezer to make sure they were super rigid. The wings were inserted prior to serving with the pointy part of the tear shape being in the cake itself.
A crown and pipe cleaners from the discount shop added the finishing touches.
