I made this R2D2 Birthday Cake for my 3 year old’s birthday. He loves Star Wars, and wanted an R2D2 cake. We weren’t going to be feeding a lot of people so I decided to make the body and legs out of Styrofoam and wrap it in fondant. The head is double chocolate marble cake, made in a bowl to give the round shape, covered it in fondant. I found a picture of R2D2 and tried to get the “accessories” right.
Had a great time doing this cake. Didn’t take long to make at all.
