This cake was made for a couple’s 20th wedding anniversary. I made two 10″ round red velvet cakes, leveled them and layered them with cream cheese icing. The top tier is actually a football-shaped chunk cut out of the round cake and placed on top. Both were coated in cream cheese icing and covered in white homemade fondant. I cut little hearts out of the white fondant and put them on the top. The border is red satin ribbon. I put the red candle in a glass holder and selected different red silk flowers, with a few tiny white ones here and there.
