I made this Roxy Logo Birthday Cake for a girl who was turning 8. The Roxy logo was the theme. The cake was a banana cake using Betty Crocker’s vanilla cake mix with two mashed bananas mixed into it. YUMMY! I used 3 cake mixes baked in a large square cake tin. I made up some buttercream icing tinted it yellow. I printed out the Roxy logo and pictures of frangipanis from the internet.
After icing the cake and letting it “set” in the fridge, I rolled out some white fondant and cut out the frangipanis using the pictures. Then I painted the yellow part of the flowers with yellow food colouring. Hot pink food colour was also used to colour the fondant for the Roxy logo made in the same way as the flowers. Then it was just a matter of placing everything on and around the cake.
I was so pleased with it, the girl adored it!
