I made this Rudolph the Reindeer Christmas Cake for an office Christmas party. It was my first attempt at covering my entire cake with fondant. The cake itself was a homemade red velvet cake and I covered it with my butter cream frosting. The reindeer was a make up of three different size round cakes. I then covered Rudolph in chocolate fondant. His eyes, ears, mouth etc was fondant. His antlers were made from melted chocolate that I swirled onto wax paper and let dry.
The cake was a big hit at work!
