The Saints birthday cake is a vanilla cake layered with Caramel butter cream and chocolate ganache and chopped pecans. I iced it with plain butter cream and used chocolate for the decoration pieces.
The field is piped by hand using a start tip and the chocolate was all piped free hand. I made it for my boyfriend’s 26th birthday, the Saints are his favorite. It got great reactions and as my second layer cake I think it looks good (I usually stick to cupcakes).
