My 3 year old daughter often pretends she is a shark so a shark cake seemed right for her birthday. And while this is not a very professional looking cake, she was happy with it and so was I.
The design is simple. The body is cut diagonally out of a 9″x11″ sheet cake. The tail and fin were cut from the leftovers and “glued” on with frosting. The teeth are mini marshmellows cut diagonally. There was supposed to be one jelly bean eye but my daughter “helped” and informed me that the shark now has sunglasses.
Lots of fun. And easy.
