This Homemade Slot Machine Cake is a cake for my father-in-law’s 75th birthday. He like going to the casino and playing the slots so what better cake than this. I made a white cake with strawberry buttercream filling and covered it with green buttercream. I bought those chocolate coins from party city and spread it around the cake.
The playing cards and dice are white fondant. The slot machine is chocolate cake filled with simple buttercream and covered in black buttercream. The screen is edible as well as the man. I had to bring this cake to the restaurant and because it was kind of hot outside, the slot started to tilt a little but everybody enjoyed it anyway. Success again!
