My son wanted a snake about to eat a mouse for his birthday cake. The neck and head of the snake are rice cereal treats which were molded around a stiff wire base. Everything else is cake covered in modeling chocolate.
This snake cake was really fun to make but none of the kids wanted to eat it because they all thought it was snake flavored!

This is a cool cake! My son wants this cake for his 6th birthday next month. I am going to attempt it, but I doubt it will turn out like this one. My mom offered to help me, so maybe I will have better luck. She is good at things like this.
