To make this Snoopy Giftbox cake, I baked two cakes.
The base was a 10″ sq vanilla and chocolate marble cake. The top was a 6″ sq white cake, tinted with various neon colors to make a ‘colorful marble’. They were both filled with a vanilla cream filling. I then covered both tiers with homemade marshmallow fondant.
For the Snoopy pictures on the base tier, I took some Snoopy stickers, placed them randomly on an 8″ x 11″ sheet of paper and then had them scanned onto a frosting sheet at the cake supply shop. I cut them out individually and stuck them with frosting to the sides of the bottom tier.
For the top tier, I made a bow out of fondant a few days in advance and attached it, with melted white chocolate, to a circle base. I cut out some fondant hearts and placed them on the corners of the top tier.
I used fondant letter cutters to spell out the name and placed them on the ribbon. I gave the cake and bow a bit of shimmer with Luster Dust. The Snoopy decoration was purchased.
