Um yeah I haven’t really heard of color flow either, but I think it is a thin batter or something that you pour in black outlines and it dries. I have seen color flow and ate it before, so that is how I sorta know.

Wilton makes a color flow powder you can buy and make your own, but it is basically royal icing. You draw the outline in a thick consistency, then fill in with very thin icing.
to make sure it is the right consistency when stirring to thin (this with water) pull some up with the spatchula or spoon and drop it back in- if it slowly smooths back into your icing then it is ready if it stays separate you need to thin it more, if it flows all over then you’ll need to thicken it up with icing sugar.
