My youngest son loves everything Spongebob, it’s even in his room. Of course he had a Spongbob-themed party, which was a lot of fun. He wanted a character cake shaped like Spongebob, which I thought okay, this would be easy. It was, but it did have some challenges and he couldn’t be alone, he had to have his best friend Patrick too..so I made two cakes and cupcakes.
I basically just baked several 13 by 9 cakes and cut and shaped until I thought they looked right. I decorated by looking at his bedroom stuff to get details and colors right. It was fun, but a little time consuming. All our family liked it, especially my son.
