Coolest Spongebob Birthday Cake

I made this Spongebob Birthday Cake for my son’s 2nd birthday, he is a huge Spongebob fan.

I made two boxes of yellow cake mix as directed in a large pan. I used thick layer of Crisco so it wouldnt stick. Let cool then put cake on a piece of wax paper. I frosted half yellow (made with white frosting and yellow food collering), then other half was white frosting and chocolate frosting.

Hand and arms are made of yellow chocolate covered pretzels. I used chocolate disc candies melted and dipped pretzels. Socks are white frosting with blue gel lines. Hands are the lil clapper party favors taken apart and rubber banded to pretzels. Feet were made of bite size 3 musketeer bars. Eyes, shirt sleeve and pant legs are the X large marshmellows, frosted pant legs with the chocolate frosting. Then used blue and black gel for color of eyes and outlines. Tie is red airhead cut and nose is a frosted piece of bananna. Teeth are pieces of gum.

I put the cake on piece of cardboard box wrapped in Spongebob wrapping paper.
