Coolest Spongebob Squarepants Cake

I made this Spongebob Squarepants cake for my two nephews who were going to be six years old. They asked for this cake and so I thought I would give it a try. I have only been cake making for about 7 months but this one even though it looks quite hard it is so easy.

I made a square cake for the base. For Spongebob I made another cake in a loaf tin. I put buttercream and jam in the square base sponge. To make sure Spongebob sit sturdy on the cake, cut a piece out of the bottom main cake, then you ice as normal going over the hollow as normal. You then cut the icing from the hollow and once Spongebob is iced in yellow half way down you can drop the un-iced half of Spongebob into the base cake and he should be quite sturdy.

You can the continue to add touches to Spongebob and the base cake.
