My brother-in-law’s birthday is on St. Patty’s day and my nieces (6 and 9) said they wanted to make a cake for their daddy. So I helped brainstorm ideas and asked if they wanted to make a cake or cupcakes and they yelled “CUPCAKES!”
This St. Patrick’s Day Cake is my first attempt at a cupcake design and it’s made from about 32 chocolate cupcakes (their dad’s favorite). I had the girls draw hearts on paper and put it on the board then lined up the cupcakes on top before we iced to make sure it would all fit and look right in the end. Then we slowly pulled the hearts out after.
The girls had a blast icing and putting sprinkles on the cake.
