This Star Wars cake was for a friend’s son for his 7th birthday, The Darth Maul mask was made by covering a mask with rolled out red fondant which was left to set for several days. It was then painted using edible paints.
R2D2 was made from Victoria sandwich cakes, 10″ for the base, 2 x 4″ plus a 4″ pudding bowl cake for the domed top,all were covered in fondant which I colored myself. To get the rocky effect on the base I used mini eggs under the fondant.
