This Teapot Cake is a Chocolate Pound cake cooked in two 1.5 liter sized bowls stacked on each other and crumb coated. I covered it in buttercream with candy hearts and buttercream drop flowers.
The spout and handle are made of candy clay. The tea cups are cup cakes in buttercream with fondant handles. Butterflies are fondant too. This was made to look like the teapot on the invitations for the birthday party of a little 5 year old girl.
I love this! It could be for a ladies tea, or a little girls party! Very clever! Could even go with Beauty & the Beast party theme!
