This Teddy Bear Child Birthday Cake was special treat for my kiddo. I found this pan at a garage sale this summer and had to try it out. It’s the WILTON PANDA PAN. It was so old school, I wasn’t even sure if it was gonna work. It looked more like once I filled it up with batter, it was gonna leak all over my stove.
To my pleasant surprise it worked GREAT! To decorate the bear, I used a homemade butter cream frosting for the white part of the bear, and for the brown, I used a homemade chocolate butter cream and piped away.
For the eyes, I used two sweet tarts, and colored on them with Black Sharpie marker. I don’t suggest doing that, because you can’t eat them. But it was a last minute thing and we needed some eyes!
A piece of licorice to finish off the smile and we were ready to party!
