This Tie Dye cake was tie dyed inside and out! The cake was a white cake mix and I took 1 cup of batter and divided it into 3 bowls and used food coloring to make it pink, blue and green then dropped teaspoons full into the batter and swirled with a toothpick.
To make the tie dye look on the top tier I rolled out several different colors of fondant into ropes then twisted together. Then I made a ball of all of them and kneaded just a little then rolled out with a rolling pin in different directions.
The bottom tier I covered with peace signs, smiley faces and flowers. My daughter loved it for her 9th birthday!
